Ian Fleming - Celebrating 60 Years of Bond

For James Bond fans, Cronulla Library (a short drive from Miranda) is holding a "Literature in the Library event marking 60 years since Ian Fleming’s first James Bond novel, Casino Royale, was published in 1953. Hear about this famous British series and the author who wrote them from the perspective of Bond enthusiast David Lewis.

Jane Austen Book Club

To celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Pride & Prejudice, Cronulla library will host a very special book group dedicated to the works of Jane Austen. Each month a different Austen novel will be read and discussed by the group (over tea of course) in a daytime and an evening session.

Friends On Show

A variety of media and styles of artwork are featured in the annual exhibition of works by members of the Friends of Hazelhurst. The Friends of Hazelhurst were established in 1995 to support the realisation of a community arts centre and gallery in southern Sydney. The group makes a vital contribution to the life and success of Hazelhurst through social activities, fundraising and art events.
